Writers, actors, librarians, and readers from across the country gather to read some of the great works of Ray Bradbury, born August 22, 1920.  Bradbury, one of the most celebrated writers of sci-fi, fantasy, horror and mystery fiction, was a prolific writer of novels, short stories, essays, and something close to us here at Heroes and Mortals Radio, radio plays, specifically for the radio drama series, X Minus One.

Listen in and join readers including: Neil Gaiman, Susan Orlean, William Shatner, Carla Hayden, Charles Bolden Jr., Marlon James, Ann Druyan, Marjorie Liu, and many more.

The event is streaming from August 22 – September 5, 2020, featuring the first of a series of readings:
