H. P. Lovecraft’s The Dunwich Horror

The Dunwich Horror is a horror short H. P. Lovecraft written in 1928 and first appeared in the April 1929 issue of Weird Tales.  The story takes place in the fictional town of Dunwich, MA and is considered a core part Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos.  The story centers around the strange boy Wilbur Whateley, his sorcerer grandfather who indoctrinates him into the dark arts of witchcraft and the unseen presence they have sequestered in their farmhouse.
